Sea Kayaking

Sunday 10th March.

I was up bright and early and ready to go down to Crosby beach to take some photographs. Unfortunately the weather was not as bright, it was grey and dull with occasional flurries of snow.

I was meeting Mike and some of his friends from the Sea Kayaking club who were taking advantage of the high tide for some sport.

Conditions were poor for my photography and far from ideal for those on the water. There were hardly any waves, the only bit of excitement being when the wash from a container ship reached the shore.

After an hour I was froze and returned home for a cup of tea.

The Iron men ignored it all and continued to gaze out to sea.

About crosbyman66

My aim is to create a photo diary of my walks and my travels. I have two main hobbies, walking and photography and these complement each other. I am a senior citizen, what used to be called an old age pensioner, but I don't feel old. Since retirement I have had more time to pursue my hobbies and the opportunity to travel more. My philosophy now is - Do what you can, while you can. My other interests are fine wines and keeping fit. These may not complement each other but keep me happy.
