Torre Picada and Soller

Today was Greg’s 60th birthday.
He wanted to climb Balitx, his favourite mountain.
I did a local walk with Krystl climbing up to the tower, Torre Picada.
From the tower we could enjoy the views looking along the coast and later could spot Greg and Paul on the summit of Balitx.
Back in the port we joined the cami de sa Figuera to stroll into Soller. We passed an orange grove where the ground was covered with poppies, an excuse to take lots of photos. In Soller we had lunch of tapas and a beer before strolling back to the port.
A relaxing day.

About crosbyman66

My aim is to create a photo diary of my walks and my travels. I have two main hobbies, walking and photography and these complement each other. I am a senior citizen, what used to be called an old age pensioner, but I don't feel old. Since retirement I have had more time to pursue my hobbies and the opportunity to travel more. My philosophy now is - Do what you can, while you can. My other interests are fine wines and keeping fit. These may not complement each other but keep me happy.
