Soller via the Cami de Rosa

Friday May 9th.
The sky is overcast and the weather forecast is for four days of rain. I needed to find a low level walk as the mountains were obscured by clouds.
I set out for Soller along the GR 221 climbing up to Muleta and then followed the signs to Deia.
At Can Prohom I decided to descend to Soller along the Cami de Rosa, a route that I had not used for several years. It had started to rain and the cobbles were very slippery.
Back at the port it was pouring with rain so I bought a nice bottle of Rioja, a stick of bread and some cheese and spent a nice relaxing afternoon in my room.

About crosbyman66

My aim is to create a photo diary of my walks and my travels. I have two main hobbies, walking and photography and these complement each other. I am a senior citizen, what used to be called an old age pensioner, but I don't feel old. Since retirement I have had more time to pursue my hobbies and the opportunity to travel more. My philosophy now is - Do what you can, while you can. My other interests are fine wines and keeping fit. These may not complement each other but keep me happy.
